I started Speaker Labs 10 years ago - way back in 2016 - so that I could focus all of my time and effort around two of the things I value most: communication and teaching.
My career began as a Faculty Member at the Ivey Business School, where I was fortunate enough to lecture packed classrooms every day. It was during that time when I fell in love with teaching. Helping others develop became my life's passion.
After teaching, I took a few years to explore the world of tech start-ups (I am a millennial, after-all) and I saw how communication is pervasive, not only in the classroom, but in all areas of business. It was clear that expressing ideas confidently and clearly was a common challenge, and I gravitated towards helping others over that all-too-common hurdle.
Then I took a leap. A leap that turned my passions into a company.
Enter Speaker Labs.
Today, we train professionals at some of the world's top companies like Shopify, RBC, Google, Wealthsimple, Etsy, Reddit, The Toronto Raptors & Maple Leafs, EO, KPMG and more.
